We did lots of hiking the other day in Riverwood Park. Chuck was swimming like a big black fish. Loves to swim, hates a bath. Go figure!

Unfortunately we have lost our little Scarlet Talula. She died two weeks ago suddenly and took my heart wih her. I miss her terribly.

A dog of many names

As with all of our animals, Mister Charlie has many names. Here are a few: Charlie, Chuck, Chuckie, Chuckleberry Jam boy, Chuckles, Chuckle head, Chuckle bunny, and of course when he's bad, CHARLES!!!

We have been hiking every Sunday with Chuck and Jersey, my sisters-in-laws dog. Lots of fun and lots of mud. See Chucks next picture, ah the suffering we go thru for a good hike!

Meet Charlie!

Introducing Charlie! He is our new addition. He is a ten month old Great Dane/ Black Lab cross! He is 70 lbs so far and his feet are HUGE! We think he will be a big boy! We were lost without Cyrus and needed to have a pup in our life. We got him from a "High kill" rescue. He was found as a stray in Ohio and brought to Ontario by a rescue that saves animals from high kill shelters. He was saved in the nick of time.

Sad news

Sadly we had to have our beloved poochie Cyrus put down the week of Thanksgiving. He was home in Pennsylvania and had decided it was time to leave us. We miss him terribly, things are not the same...

Finally!!!

Well, we finally have a new car!! She's beautiful! She's a new 2009 Pontiac Vibe. We've waited a long time! I haven't had a brand new car for 19 years!!! About time I'd say!!
